What we want at wax&wires (other than to abuse alliteration):

Everything in your musical life can be broken down into two categories: listening and creating.

At waxandwires.com, we label those categories “wax” and “wires” respectively.

Why waxandwires?

WAX has played a critical role in the history of recorded music. From Edison’s first experiments with wax coated paper, all the way up to wax masters and records that we’re more familiar with (hence the term “put it on wax”), music listening would not be the same without wax.
In the “wax” section, you’ll find music industry news, artist reviews, record label woes, and music you really need to hear.

WIRES carry the signal of the music we make. Whether a guitar cable, mic line, or the guts of a circuit bent anomaly, wires give us the ability to create and share our music.
In the “wires” section, you’ll find music making tips, PR advice, and music tech news.

If you have any questions or comments, I’d love the feedback. This is not a one-way street. I want your suggestions, and I want to hear the music you’re making!
