Edison’s Not What Ships Are Built For, is available for free download here.
It’s a great chilled-out ambient electronic record. Don’t think you’re getting something to fall asleep to though, as the instrumental album pulls a lot of energy from glitchy, sliced and really unique samples.
If you’re into Ratatat, be sure to give this a go. You can preview it on the site above, and it is free after all.

Thanks for turning me on to Edison. I actually picked it up because to the Ratatat endorsement, but I’m really enjoying them as artists in their own right. Spot on with the sliced sample nod.
Hey Tyler! Cool to see you around here. I’ve been digging this Edison release for the past week or so too. A lot of the stuff kind of has a Massive Attack thing going on. It was one of those sounds that was like, "I know this sounds like something… but I can’t figure out what." It just clicked today that it’s sort as if Massive Attack and Ratatat had a love child.
I was checking out your site just now. That Japanese wanted poster with a Mii on it is hilarious!
