Yesterday, we gave you some free piano samples from Sonart. Today, we’re linking you up to a free guitar modeler from Waves. You can download GTR Solo for FREE from the waves website. Even though it’s a stripped down version of the full blown GTR 3, and it only works for one year, you can’t beat the price.
Some have been criticizing Waves for only making it available for one year, since at the end of the year you’ll have to buy the plug-in to keep it functional for all of the songs you’ve already used it on during your free trial period. To them I say, if you’re using it that much, to the point that it’s an inconvenience when it doesn’t work anymore, maybe you should buy it! So let’s not look a gift horse in the mouth. Thank you Waves, for the free go around. And thank you, Kent, for shooting this find our way.
From the Waves website:
| GTR Solo delivers the sound of real amps, cabs, stomps, and mics—in your computer. Just plug in, fire it up, and experience precision models of amplifiers by Fender®, Marshall®, Vox® and others. Then take it to the next level with awesome distortion, modulation, and ambient effects.
These are the same GTR sounds top guitarists, producers, and engineers are using on their most important tracks. Your guitar. Your computer. And GTR Solo. |
