We’ve always heard the same example, “A final mix is like a cake. Once you bake it, you can’t get your eggs back.” Well, Audionamix claims to give you all of your ingredients back, so that you can make a new dish with them.

Sonik Architects and BT have teamed up to create Sonifi, a sweet little iPhone App that lets you remix four tracks (Bass, Beats, Synth/FX, and Melody) by using the iPhone’s accelerometer and touchscreen.

Pearl Jam just released the deluxe reissue of their debut album, TEN a little less than a week ago. As part of the hype for the new album, MTV2 rounded up a bunch of more current artists to cover their favorite Pearl Jam tracks and hip-hopper POS tops the covers.

Here’s a pretty cool mashup of the Top 25 pop songs of 2008, based on ratings from Billboard. They might be missing a few, and Katie Perry gets a bit modal, but it’s a really great job. I can’t imagine how tedious this was.
