The Edge Pulls Inspiration from Jack White and Jimmy Page For U2′s Upcoming Release

The Edge has reportedly been heard saying that his playing on U2′s upcoming release, No Line On The Horizon, is heavily influenced by former Led Zeppelin guitarman Jimmy Page. He also cites Jack White as a recent influence, being that the three guitarists spent a lot of time together filming the documentary, It Might Get Loud.

The Edge is no stranger to guitar pioneering, having single handedly trademarked the delay-driven guitar sound.

    And NetFlix already has "It Might Get Loud" in its catalog (although the release date is marked as ‘Unknown’).

    Nice. I’ve been thinking about switching from Blockbuster to NetFlix for a while, but I like the in-store exchanges. Blockbuster doesn’t have it in the log yet though.
