Thom Yorke To Release Surprise New Album

Following in the footsteps of his main act, Radiohead front man Thom Yorke is rumored to be releasing a few new tracks under the radar. The album will feature two new songs, “The Hollow Earth” and “Apart By Horses,” and be released on September 22nd in a first printing of only around 8,500 12″ pressings. 4,000 are said to be headed to the US, 4,000 to Europe, and a meager 400 to our Canadian friends to the north.

There were rumors flying around about Yorke having contributed a song for the upcoming Twilight sequel, New Moon. The film comes out October 20th, so I would not be surprised if one of these tracks made its way into the movie.

The artwork is said to be stellar for the 12″, though I’ll have to wait and see if I can get our hands on one to check out.
