Twisten.FM – Find New Music Through Twitter

This is a great tool. Twisten.fm crawls Twitter for tweets about music. You can then listen to the songs that are getting tweeted about. I normally hate describing new sites based on other sites, but for lack of a better way to put it into words, twisten is basically like a last.fm meets twitter, as its name implies. The brilliant thing that twisten.fm employs is rather found in what they don’t. Twisten does not host the music it streams, so they avoid having to front the gigantic overhead for music licenses, which have proven to crush online music endeavors one after the next.
